I have a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw connected to my home network via Ethernet. When I disconnect the Ethernet, I can use AirPrint to print from my iPhone. However, when Ethernet is connected, this does not work. Is this by design? Or, how can I make AirPrint work even when Ethernet is connected? Thanks.

@matkramer, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Update the printer firmware
HP regularly releases new printer firmware versions with product enhancements or issue fixes. Depending on your printer, apps on the printer control panel might also receive updates. Update firmware and apps on a regular basis to make sure you are getting the most out of your printer. Refer to this link for help.
Ensure that the iOS device is up to date as well.
When the printer is connected through an ethernet cable, is the mobile phone connected to the same network as that of the printer?
If yes, restart the devices and try to print.
If the issue persists, let me know if there is an error message when you print from your phone with the ethernet cable connected to the printer.
Keep me posted for further assistance.

I checked for updates from the LaserJet menu: Service - LaserJet Update - Check for Updates. No updates found.
Yes, all devices are on the 192.168.0.* network.
I tried again with the Ethernet connected after it had been disconnected for a while and it looks like it works now.
Thanks.
