Product: HP Envy 5055
Operating System: iOS

So have a HP Envy 5055. I can airprint from my iphone but not my ipad. I have one of the newest models of ipads. I made sure both my printer and ipad are on the same network. I turned my router off, ipad and printer off and back on. I tried going to the ip address of my printer and cant get on but I can on my iphone (Xs). I used the Smart App and barely get on that as well. It would come on and go right off. Im only a few feet from my printer. This is really frustrating.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printing issue. 

 

To better assist you - Are you getting any error message? 

 

I'd suggest, try updating your iPad using these steps - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
