AirPrint works fine from my phone at my parents' house, but at my house, I get this error message now when I try to AirPrint: "No AirPrint Printers Found." But the printer works fine printing wirelessly from my computer, which is on the same WiFi network as the phone and printer. Also, the printer says it has a network connection and displays a solid blue light. The printer says it is up to date. My phone is on iOS 18.2, which is up to date. I've tried resetting my phone's network settings and turning the phone, printer, and router off and on again. I called Apple, and they tried some things, then said to contact HP. My printer is no longer under warranty, and so HP won't let me call for help. Also, I can print from the HP Smart app on my phone, but not through AirPrint. I feel stuck.

Hi @LB511,
Thanks for sharing the details.
I'm sorry you're facing this frustrating issue with your OfficeJet 4650 and AirPrint. Let’s try to narrow down the cause and resolve it together.
Have you confirmed that both your printer and phone are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network (and not separate bands like 2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz)?
- Does your printer appear under the list of devices when you try to print via AirPrint, or is it completely missing?
- Are there any other devices in your home experiencing issues with AirPrint, or is it just your phone?
Let's try these steps.
Check Bonjour Services on the Network
AirPrint uses Bonjour, which some routers block. Log in to your router's admin page and ensure mDNS or Bonjour is enabled. If unsure, consult your router manual or contact your ISP for guidance.
Ensure Your Printer's IP Address Is Static
Assign your printer a static IP address to avoid network changes causing connectivity issues:
- Go to your printer’s network settings and note the current IP address.
- Log into your router settings and assign this IP address to your printer under DHCP Reservations or a similar menu.
Reset Printer’s Network Settings
On your printer:
- Go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Settings.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network and verify the blue light stays solid.
Update or Reinstall Printer Firmware
Even though your printer says it’s up to date, manually check:
- Visit the HP Support page for the OfficeJet 4650.
- Download and install the latest firmware update if available.
Test with Another Device
If possible, try printing via AirPrint from another iOS device connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- If it works, the issue may be specific to your phone’s AirPrint settings.
- If it doesn’t, it’s likely a network or printer issue.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
