As Google seem to be committed to ending Google Cloud Print, I'm looking for a suitable alternative;
We have two printers and need to print from desktops (Mac and PC), mainly from web browsers and the two printers are standalone and in different locations.
I think the issue will be that they are standalone - has HP come up with a solution where a user can print to the printers MAC address? Emailing is not viable.
@refjamie, Welcome to HP Support Community!
May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Keep me posted.

Thanks for replying!
Use the WiFi Direct option to print from. Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct for help.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Unfortunately, it doesn't - that only works for the local network.
Is HP working on a solution to be able to print to the MAC address from the Print Dialogue (and not email or use the app)?
I want to be able to print offsite to a standalone printer as I do with GCP with ease.
Appreciate your time and patience.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region for further course of action.
Hope this helps!
