Best android app for hp envy6230

HI.

I have a printer hp envy6230. I want to know what is the best android app.

HP SMART or HP PLUGIN SERVICE ?

HP PLUGIN SERVICE it is also a part of HP SMART ?

If I install HP SMART i have also its plugin, i think.....

If I understand correctly, Hp Smart is a complete suite to control cartridge, scan and print from many places,

Hp plugin service is an hidden app that allows you to print inside other app directly with the print menu.

I have read that HP SMART APP does not allow you to search for files to be printed by sd.  How can i solve?

Note: Printing of files from the SD card option depends on the Mobile device being used. Install the app and try to print.

I have installed HP SMART for android, and it works fine on pdf files and images. I have problems with .docx and .xls files. It seems that it's possible to print with wi-direct option only, but  it's impossible because wi-fi direct for Huawei/Honor devices does not work on other brands.

Then I had to copy files on Google Drive, transform in pdf format and print.

I think it's an absurd thing that an app made to print everything, don't print office formats directly,

There shouldn't even be the wi-fi direct option to print these formats, but they should be printed right away like pdf and photos.

Moreover, with this app, it is not possible to search for documents to be printed from one's own archive, such as an SD card. This is another absurd thing.

Finally, the only positive thing I can say is that with iphone devices, without having to install very heavy apps, I was able to print everything immediately (with Air Print option).

If there are other systems to print office documents directly, without having to transfer and convert files to google drive, I kindly ask you to tell me. Thank You.

What happens when you use HP Print Service Plugin to print?

The plugins were installed when I installed HP smart.

The plugins make me print photos, text files, pdf files, without having to launch HP smart.

When I open an office document, when I sharing, I don't have the option 'HP plugin'.

To print these documents i have to copy in google drive and convert in pdf format before to print. 

It does not make sense.

For MS Word or Excel documents, try printing directly from the MS Office app without using HP Smart. If the issue persists, I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction with our HP Support team.

The problem is born just trying to print the document from office.

There is no print option, nor the possibility of sharing the document with the plugins.
Meanwhile, I contacted Honor / Huawei support. According to them it is a problem with the HP app.

The only possibility to print an office document, I repeat, is to copy it and convert it into pdf format on google drive....
