Hi @Jm279

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e is having trouble processing print jobs despite being connected to Wi-Fi.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and not in an error state.
  • Confirm that the printer is set as the default printer on your device.

Verify Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Make sure the printer and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Print a network configuration page from the printer's control panel to confirm the connection.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off the printer, your phone, and your Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then turn them back on. This can help clear any temporary glitches.

Use the HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart app on your phone and use it to send the print job. The app can help bypass potential communication issues.

Clear the Print Queue:

  • If there are stuck print jobs, clear the print queue on your phone or computer and try printing again.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support page to check for and install the latest firmware updates for your printer.

Test with Another Device:

  • Try printing from a different device (e.g., a computer or tablet) to see if the issue is specific to your phone.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
