Envy 4527

Recently chagned location and no longer have access to wifi.  Can I connect my HP Envy using Ethernet cable? I'm guessing not.

The printer says I need to conncet to the internet or it will stop printing etc.  Am I not able to just stop using Instant Ink and buy cartridges?

I'm currently connecting my laptop and printer with a cable but obviously no internet....

I may have to buy a new printer!??

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I understand that you have some concerns regarding your Instant Ink Account.

I have gone through your Post and unfortunately Instant Ink works only on WiFi and you will not be able to use Instant Ink on Ethernet.

If you do not have WiFi connection at your new location, then I suggest you use regular cartridges and you can cancel your Instant Ink Subscription for now till you have access to WiFi again

Unfortunately, this reply completely ignores the question, which was "Can HP Envy 4527 work connected by ethernet?".   Ended up here via googling for the above, given wireless setup refuses to work and there's no obvious port.   I guess I'll be returning mine.
