Officejet 6500
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello Forum!

Question: Can I connect my HP Officjet 6500 to my desktop wirelessly?

I have always ran a wire from my desktop to the printer.

About a year ago I bought an HP 4360 wireless printer. The 6500 is still a good printer. I don't want to discard it. But with a wire running to it from my computer it's kind of in the way.

I live in just a small apartment (700 sq. ft.). I need to move the printer to a bookshelf in order to free up some space.

Thanks.

Hi,

The HP Officejet 6500 (e709a) is not a wireless printer.

Assuming this is the exact model as you have you may connect it with a USB to your PC or with an ethernet cable to your router, not wirelessly..

ShlomiL;

Thank you for your response.

That's what I was thinking. I just didn't know for sure.

Thanks again.
