I had my computer and printer connected to the same WiFi. I moved home and cancelled my WiFi. I am only using my HotSpot data of my phone. The Printer and Computer dont seem to be communicating? Any advice? Can the printer operate through HotSpoting?

Hi @JuanCarlos4

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

HP does not recommend connecting the printer to a Hotspot or a guest network. It may or may not work.

If you do not have access to a wireless router, you may connect the printer and the MAC via Wifi-Direct.

Kindly refer to this document to know more about printing via Wi-fi Direct.

Note: The default password for Wifi-Direct is 12345678. The MAC will not have an Internet connection while using Wifi-Direct to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
