Can no longer print from Android to LaserJet CP2025 after installing new Inkjet 8025e

I cannot select my color laser CP2025 from my phone, Android 14. Had been using the HP Print Service Plugin  and it worked fine before...

My old Inkjet 7075 InkJet printhead died, so rather than putz with that I purchased a current printer, 8025e, and as part of the setup it installed HP Smart on my phone.

It sees the laserjet, but I cannot select it. I can only select the InkJet printer? It shows the HP Color LaserJet, and says some features are unavailable. When I select get support it shows a list, all of which are correct, so I check them and it returns me to the main HP Smart screen. If I try to print something it goes to the Select Printer screen and after a while says No Printer Found.

If I open say Adobe and select a file it tells me the LaserJet is not available? Only the InkJet is available to print.

I uninstalled HP Smart and HP Printer Services on my Android phone, reinstalled HP Smart and still did not allow me to print to my Laser nCP 2025.

i reinstalled Printer services and that didn't help.

Restarting devices didn't help.

Worked fine before installing the new printer?

So HP rep here sent me to support and they refused to help because my LaserJet is so old and sent me back here. Ha!

I deleted HP Smart and HP Print Services from my Android phone and rebooted all.

Ironically, I can still print to the new InkJet 8025e... Ha again!

Would still prefer to print to my Laserjet, so if anyone has experienced this situation and has a workaround, it'd be much appreciated.

So I installed the HP Print Service plugin and I can again print to the LaserJet... and the InkJet as well.

Guess HP Smart is unnecessary.
