@joannes33, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Smart Tank 6001 is no longer printing from your iPhone 15, try these troubleshooting steps:
Check Printer & Network Connection
- Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.
- Restart both your printer and Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection.
- If the printer has an orange flashing light, check for errors on the printer’s display or HP Smart app.
Verify AirPrint & HP Smart App
Check AirPrint:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and make sure your printer is listed under available devices.
- Try printing from another app (e.g., Safari, Photos) using the Share button > Print option.
HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app and see if the printer is detected. If not, remove and re-add the printer in the app.
Reset Printer’s Network Settings
- On the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
- Use the HP Smart app on your iPhone to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Update iOS & Printer Firmware
- Check for iOS updates: Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Update printer firmware:
- Open HP Smart app > Printer Settings > Advanced Settings (EWS).
- Look for Firmware Update and update if available.
Remove & Reinstall Printer on iPhone
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth and forget the printer if it's listed.
- Restart your iPhone and reconnect to the printer via Wi-Fi.
- Open the HP Smart app and re-add the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
