HP Envy 5000

I got this printer a few weeks ago and it worked fine. Suddenly, I can no longer print. I had an update today that made it look like it was completely reinstalling. Now it will print a test page but nothing else. I don't get it. When I pull up the que it just says "error-sent to printer", "printing" or nothing at all next to the jobs. I used the virtual assistant which was a complete waste of time. I'm stuck.
