Product: Hp desk jet 3730
I have an iPhone and connected to the printer on our wifi network just fine. I selected the hp printer starting with set up and it worked fine. We are trying to connect my partners iPad and it now only gives us the option of choosing direct hp printer and not set up hp printer ... if we choose this it then asks for a password ... anyone have any ideas??

Hi,

 

It sounds like you have the wifi direct feature of your printer enabled. There shoudl be a button on your front panel to turn this on and off - turn it off and connect the printer and any devices printing to it to your home wifi network using your home wiffi password.

Thank you for this. I have checked this and the printer printed out a sheet of paper with the direct password on it!! Who knew!! Thanks 😊😊
