My HP Envy cannot establish web services so I can do eprint and efax etc…
Also, it does not have an email address assigned to it, and cannot figure out how to establish one.
My printer is an Envy 110 series model D411d - product number CQ810A
Bought it used, and it said that web services were already set up, but there was no email address associated, and it would not print the info page. I turned off web services, set everything back to factory default, and now I cannot re-estabilsh web services - i get unable to connect, but I know I have a good connection to my A T & T WIFI.
Lets start there...

Well I just solved my own problem - I found the notice from HP that for mine and many other older printers, support is no longer being provided for web services as of Sept. 2016. Planned obsolesence? Probably... at least all the other "printer" functions work. I'll be back with something else I'm sure!

I was reading in one of the posts here that there is the potential issue that if this computers previous owner had registered this printer on HP Connect, that I might be locked out from registering it myself if they did not remove it from their account - is that true? This is a second hand donated printer and I don't know who had it before me so I can't run that down, and since web services was already on, I assume it was registered under someone else. However, I did turn web services off, so would that allow for me to then re-establish web services under my HP Connect account, even if the prior party had not removed it? Either way, as my first post explains, web services will not set up for me now, and I just wonder of the scenario above might be the reason? Thanks for any help here... I did to the 8 8 8 8 and 8 8 4 4 thing, but no difference.
