Hello, 

 

From long time I have problem with login to Hp Smart app. When I want to login directly I have a notification Bad Request. Also some times in my laptop automatically log me out. My IOS and app  is latest version. I delete and install but nothing changed. Anyone have any solution for that? Thanks.

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Smart App. An HP Smart account allows you to print and scan from the HP Smart app, as well as access to premium features such as mobile fax.

 

You can also use HP Smart to remotely manage, share access, and print from anywhere with a compatible HP printer.

 

I have a few recommendations 

 

Removing and re-installing the HP Smart App may resolve this issue. Here is how to do it:

  1. Open Finder and click Applications
  2. Move HP Smart App to Trash and clear the Trash.
  3. Open Finder then click Go and Click Home.
  4. Click View then Click Show View Options. Check the box Show Library Folder.
  5. The change is instantaneous and the Library folder will immediately be visible.
  6. Open Library and Open Application Support, move HP Smart folder to Trash and clear the Trash

Next download the HP Smart App from App Store and also update the printer's firmware.

Hey Dilip,

 

Thank you for the message but re-install app is not working. I re-install several times, changed internet connection, tried to login with different account even tried to open new account with this all way is the same Bad Request.

I understand you are still not able to login to HP Smart app. Have you disabled cookies? You can check by going to Settings>Safari and see if Block All Cookies is enabled. If cookies are disabled please enable them in order to login. Could you also please verify the version of HP Smart installed by going to HP Smart>Settings>About.

 

Change privacy settings for browsing OFF, then it works.

I check this way I disable in Safari "Block All Cookies" and "Block Pop-ups" but still nothing change. When I want to login Bad Request error message.

If your printer is not connected to an active Internet connection, printer apps do not work. Make sure the printer is connected to a wireless network with an active Internet connection. note: If you connect your printer with a USB cable, printer apps do not work.

Thank you for the your message. My printer connect with internet and properly working. Internet connection is with wifi. I tried now when "Block All Cookies" and "Block Pop-ups" were disabled but still the same error message. I writing to email address and directly Bad Request error message.

Let's try the steps below to try and fix the issue:

  1. First off, uninstall the HP Smart App from the Android device.
  2. Now, go to Settings - About Phone - System Updates - Make sure all the updates are updates.
  3. Restart the Android device.
  4. Now, go to the Play Store and then reinstall the HP Smart App.
  5. Again, go to Settings - Apps - Select HP Smart App.
  6. Select Permissions - Make sure all the Permissions are turned on for the HP Smart App.
  7. Now, try scanning.

Dear Dilip_18,

 

Thank you for the your message. My operation system is IOS and I delete the app install again. Printer is connect with internet by wifi. In my Safari settings Block All Cookies are closed. I using IOS's last version but when I want to login to account there is all the time Bad Request error message. If I cannot login to this account I can only use this printer for print. Now only I using for this from my phone. When I want to scan something I need to open all the time my computer. So do you really have some solution for this error message?
