Hello folks,

I've been facing a problem with printing on my Android Smartphone and there doesnt seem any way to solve it easily.

I can't print certain things anymore, even though I have the HP Print Service Plugin an HP Smart installed.

Printing only works if the app has a specific "print" option, but not all apps have this, such as Evernote or Firefox Browser, the printing there used to work via the "share menu"

But when I go to the "share menu" neither the Plugin nor HP Smart appear on the list of apps to choose from, making it impossible to print anything.

I tried reinstalling all affected apps, clearing the cache, restarting the whole phone, I looked through all the settings I could find, but still the HP apps are missing from the share menu.

It used to work before and even non-related apps (the printing driver from my old Brother Printer and even VLC, which is a videoplayer, not a printer) appear in the menu, so what am I doing wrong that HP Smart isnt available there?
I hope someone can help me, this is very frustrating as I need to use my phone regularly for printing ever since I threw my laptop out.

EDIT: I selected the wrong Android version. I use Android 11 on my phone, not Android 9
