I have a new office jet pro 8139e printer. When I try to print a website from my iphone or iPad, the AirPrint option cannot find the printer. If I use the HP Smart print option, the printer is there, but the webpage I want to print does not display, thus I am unable to print the webpage.

Hi @Jque1 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering some connectivity and compatibility issues with your HP Office Jet Pro 8139e printer when trying to print webpages from your iOS devices.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
- Ensure Printer and Devices are Connected to the Same Network: Make sure your printer and iOS devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. AirPrint requires devices to be on the same network to function properly.
- Check Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually check for firmware updates through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP support website.
- Restart Printer and iOS Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both the printer and your iOS devices can resolve connectivity issues.
- Reset Network Settings on iOS Devices: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iOS devices. This will reset Wi-Fi and other network-related settings. Afterward, reconnect to your Wi-Fi network and try printing again.
- Update iOS: Make sure your iOS devices are running the latest version of iOS. Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that could resolve compatibility issues.
- Check Printer's Network Settings: Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that it has a stable connection.
- Use HP Smart App: Since you mentioned that the HP Smart print option detects the printer but the webpage doesn't display, try reinstalling the HP Smart app on your iOS devices. This might resolve any software-related issues.
- Check Webpage Compatibility: Some webpages may not be optimized for printing or may have content that isn't supported by AirPrint. Try printing from different web pages to see if the issue persists.
