Hi @LouV822,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2700 printer's wireless button is blinking blue and it has no display, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wireless Network: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Verify that other devices can connect to the network without issues.

Reset Wireless Settings:

  • With the printer turned on, press and hold the Wireless button for about 5 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking.
  • This will reset the wireless settings on the printer and may help with connectivity.

Reconfigure Wireless Connection:

  • Use the HP Smart app or HP Print and Scan Doctor (if you have access to a computer) to reconnect the printer to your wireless network.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the network password.

Check Printer Software:

  • Ensure that the latest printer drivers and software are installed on your computer. You can download the latest software from the HP Support website.

Move Printer Closer to Router: Sometimes, being too far from the router can cause connectivity issues. Try moving the printer closer to the router.

Check Router Settings: Ensure that the router is not blocking the printer. Some routers have settings that could prevent new devices from connecting.

Use WPS Setup (if available on your router):

  • If your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), press the WPS button on your router.
  • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your printer. The printer should automatically connect to the network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
