HP OfficeJet 5258 All-in-One Printer

Good evening, I'm attempting to set up an HP OfficeJet 5258 to Google Cloud Print so I can print from anywhere to my printer. When I go into the web settings, I get this message:

Google Cloud Print was not set up within the available time. Click "OK", and then follow the on-screen instructions to try setting up Google Cloud Print again.

It's connected to the network and I'm able to access it from my MacBook Air without issues, but if I'm not at home and need to print something from my phone, laptop, or any other device with Chrome installed, it's going to be a challenge. I tried Chrome itself, Safari, and Edge and they all say the same error message. Is it because the printer is not supported for the service? I also have the latest firmware installed.

Welcome to the HP Community --

Does seem like an oddly worded message.

According to Google, the Google Cloud Print service has been discontinued as of 2021.

ePrint is listed as supported as a mobile print option.

The initial setup requires access to the printer.

Once set up, ePrint can be used to send correctly formatted email messages and attachments to your printer.
