I have an HP Officejet pro 8025e all in one printer. Both the printer and the phone (android galaxy A71) are printing from the same WiFi. The WiFi Direct is on. I have been unable to print from my phone to my printer, even though my printer detects my phone and says it is printing and nothing prints out. I have tried restarting my phone, router and printer all with no success. This issue just began today. How can I fix this?

Hi @fierce_zebra_5,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue of not being able to print from your Android phone to your HP Officejet Pro 8025e printer.
- Ensure Printer Connection: Make sure that both your printer and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, devices may connect to different networks unintentionally.
- Check Printer Status: Confirm that your printer is turned on and has enough paper and ink. Also, check if there are any error messages or warnings displayed on the printer's control panel.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP printer. You can usually find this information on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can often resolve connectivity issues.
- Restart Devices: Turn off both your printer and your phone, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on. This simple step can sometimes resolve connectivity issues by resetting the network connections.
- Forget and Reconnect Wi-Fi: On your Android phone, forget the Wi-Fi network to which it is currently connected and then reconnect to it. This can refresh the connection and resolve any issues with the network configuration.
- Update Printer Drivers: If you haven't done so already, ensure that you have the latest HP printer drivers installed on your Android phone. You can usually download these drivers from the Google Play Store.
- Check Printer Queue: Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the printer queue, preventing new print jobs from being processed. Check the print queue on your Android device and cancel any pending print jobs.
- Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting your HP printer to its factory defaults. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings you have configured on the printer.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and successfully print from your Android phone to your HP Officejet Pro 8025e printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
