Cannot set-up my new Envy 5052 printer to my wireless network. I have a dual band 5G and 2.4G network. I hook up my iphone to the printer, I select my 2.4 G network (but have tried the 5G and it fails as well). Then in the connecting the printer to wi-fi it fails, the first check is good and then the second just spins until it fails or times out.

I'm extremely frusterated.

Thank you for being a part of HP Forums. I'd like to help.

Resetting the printer network settings may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1.) Unplug your modem/router and leave it powered off.

2.) Restart your printer, on the printer control panel display, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ). Touch Restore Network Settings.

3.) Power off your printer

4.) Reconnect your modem/router and wait for it to re-establish its internet connection.

5.) Power on your printer.

6.) On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( Wireless ).

7.) Touch ( Settings ).

8.) Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, follow the display instructions to connect the printer to your home WiFi.

Once the printer is connected, connect your iPhone to your home WiFi and try to print.

Let me know how it goes!
