Having Set up remote printing from HP3630, printing E Mails from iPhone and iPad render the prints in double size font. Photos seem to be OK, but cannot work out how to amend or alter the applicable settings on iPhone or iPad to print E Mails in standard size font. Any assistance appreciated!

Greetings @Tarq20,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are looking to change the size of the font size while printing from your iOS devices, is that right?
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
May I know the exact procedure you are using to print from your iOS devices, Airprint or HP Smart APP?
Request you open settings on your iOS device.
Select General and then Select Accessibility and change the font size before you print.
Personally, I recommend you install and print using the HP Smart App on your iOS devices. Click here to know more.
Let me know if this helped.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I was aware of the process to amend font size on the iOS devices, but changing this does not reflect the change when printing an e mail from the mail application. They still print in a larger font size than needed. I have also installed the HP Smart App, but there is no capacity to print e mails from there. I can move the text of an e mail into another application to amend and then print, but I would assume I should be able to print an e mail directly from the application? Since this happens on both iPhone and IPad, I thought it was a printer function causing the issue, but other things print OK, it's just e mails, hence the problem must likely be in the e mail settings, but I cannot locate where to correct things. That said, if this is the case, it is likely not an issue for yourself, but of any further advice is available it will be appreciated.

Hello, @Tarq20
I see that you were interacting with @Chimney_83. He is out of the office and I'd like to help 🙂
You can try using the Wi-Fi direct feature on your printer to connect the printer directly to the iOS device and print the emails. Connect your Apple iOS device directly to the printer with Wi-Fi Direct or HP wireless direct as suggested below:
-
On the printer, make sure a solid blue light is on next to the Wi-Fi Direct/HP wireless direct button
or an Wi-Fi Direct/HP wireless direct
icon displays on the control panel.
-
Press the Wi-Fi Direct/HP wireless direct button or navigate the control panel menu settings to find and touch Wi-Fi Direct/HP wireless direct.
-
On your Apple iOS device, tap Settings, and then tap Wi-Fi.
-
Under the Choose a network menu, select your printer. The printer name begins with DIRECT.
If prompted, type a password. The default password is 12345678.
Now, try the steps below to print:
- In the app that you want to print from, tap the Action icon (
or
) to display the menu options.
- Tap Print. The Printer Options menu displays.
- On the Printer Options menu, tap Select Printer. A list of available printers on the network displays.
- Tap your HP ePrint printer in the drop-down menu. The Printer Options menu displays again and shows your selected printer.
- If you do not need to change print options, tap Print to send the print job to the HP printer.
Let me know how that goes!
Have a great day 🙂
