Changing the background color of a document when printing from a mobile phone to an HP wireless printer generally involves adjusting the print settings either on the mobile device or in the app you're using. Here’s how you can manage this:
Adjust Print Settings from Mobile Devices

If you’re using the HP Smart app, follow these steps:
Open HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your mobile phone. Make sure your printer is connected and selected.
Select Document or Photo:

- Tap on the Print option to open print settings.
Change Print Settings:
- Look for an option related to Print Quality, Color Options, or Advanced Settings. Some apps allow you to change the background color or enable options like Background Printing.
Disable Background Printing:
- If there's an option to print with or without background colors, ensure it's set to None or Disabled.
Print:
- Once you've adjusted the settings, proceed to print.
**2. Using Mobile Device’s Built-in Print Function
If you're using the built-in print function on your mobile device:
Open the Document:
- Open the document you want to print on your mobile device.
Select Print Option:
- Tap on the Share icon or Print option, usually found in the document’s menu.
Access Printer Settings:
- Select your HP printer from the list of available printers.

Open the Document in Google Docs:
- Open Google Docs and go to the document you want to print.
Select Print Option:
- Tap on the three dots (menu) in the top right corner and select Print.
Change Settings:
- In the print options, look for Advanced settings where you might find options related to background color. Ensure it's set to print without backgrounds.:
