I purchased and set up a TC CB2 and HP 6100 'eprinter' for my grandfather and the printing seems slow/broken recently. Printing jobs take hours to complete, sometimes days?

Looking online it seems to be a know issue with HPs cruddy software but I wanted to know:

a) Has anyone experienced this? b) What is the best printer I can replace it, should HP be unable to resolve this?
