Deskjet 2130 printer

How do i get the DeskJet 2130 printer to print (chromebook says its connected) but when it comes to printing it doesn't even give the option to actually print.  I'm on the edge of throwing this printer through the HP Canada front window.  I just bought this thing today and have spent 6 hours trying to get it to print.  Connection is only by usb cable.

Hi @chromeuser234,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

To print from your printer to your Chromebook via USB, you'll need to install the HP Print for Chrome extension. Go to Printing with the HP Print for Chrome App for more information and detailed steps.

Let me know if that helps!

Please understand that this process is very vexing.   Every other printer I have owned (all were hp) they just plugged in and worked right out of the box.

NO THIS DID NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has a solution that works, please post here.  Sending to the hp site does not work!!!
