macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Connected printer to new Wi-fi router. Since then it is not printing, printer remains as “ pause” state& getting a message “ encryption credentials expired”

please help

Hi,

Ensure your printer firmware is up to date by following below utility and check:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/en4520new/EN4520_R1827B.dmg

 

If the same persists, from System Preferences select Printers & Scanners.

Select your listed printer and click the minus sign to remove it.

 

Click the plus sign to add it and be sure to select the AirPrint option within the Use drop-down menu, then check for any difference.

One possibility is that the printer's server certificate has expired. To resolve this issue please follow the directions outlined in the document "'Encryption Credentials Expired' Error Displays".
