I can’t connect up with my printer as my iPhone needs a password and I can’t find this anywhere ...

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Are you connecting these devices to your wireless router or via Wifi-Direct?

 

If you are using Wifi-Direct to connect the printer to the iPhone, the default password would be 12345678. For more info on how to print using Wifi-Direct, kindly refer to this document.

Note: While using Wifi-Direct to print, you will not have internet access on the iPhone.

 

To know how to connect the printer to your wireless router and print using the iPhone, refer to this document.

Note: Make sure the printer and the iPhone are on the same wireless network. That is 2.4GHz network.
