Hi @Jade12345 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you don't know the Wi-Fi password, there are a few options to reconnect your HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer to your network:

Option 1: Find the Wi-Fi Password on Your Router  Find the wireless network password or PIN to connect an HP

  1. Check your router: Many routers have a label with the default Wi-Fi password printed on it. Look for a sticker on the back or bottom of the router.
  2. Log into the router's settings:
    • Open a browser and type the router's IP address (commonly 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar.
    • Enter the router's admin credentials (check your router’s manual or the sticker on the router if you haven't changed them).
    • Once logged in, navigate to the wireless settings where you should be able to find or reset the Wi-Fi password.

Option 2: Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Connect an HP printer using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

If your router and printer both support WPS, you can connect without needing the password:

  1. On your printer: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the light blinks.
  2. On your router: Press the WPS button (it may be labeled as "WPS" or represented by a circular arrow).
  3. The printer and router will automatically connect without needing the password.

Option 3: Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

If the printer is already connected to an old Wi-Fi network and you're unable to connect to a new one:

  1. Reset the printer's network settings:
    • With the printer on, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for about 5 seconds until the light starts blinking.
    • This will reset the printer’s network settings, allowing you to reconnect it to a new Wi-Fi network.

Once the printer is reset or connected to your Wi-Fi, you should be able to use the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel to complete the setup process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
