Cricut printable sticker paper.

Please help me. I have the HP inkjet 6978. I cannot print anything on the cricut printable sticker paper!  I’ve resolved the jamming problems by setting it to photo paper but nothing will print on it

Unfortunately, you cannot use (select) Photo paper unless you have actually loaded photo paper - most printers cannot be fooled.

Based on the printer model...

If you have not done so, consider installing the update for the printer Firmware.

At this writing, the current update is marked "Critical"

Reminder:  Always read the description and any other sections before installing Firmware.

If you have not done so, download-save-install the Full Feature Software for the printer

HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software 

About 2/3 of the way through the setup, you will be given the opportunity to select the software - select the "Full" driver set (as opposed to the basic driver).

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Full driver provides print and scan functions (even if HP Smart continues to be stubborn).

Assuming the Full Feature Software is installed,

and that the "sticker" paper is within the weight limitations for "card paper",

consider selecting Media (paper type / kind of paper)

Brochure matte (or HP Glossy Brochure if the sticker paper has a gloss surface)

What else?

Perhaps "Presentation" or "Thick" paper if you can find a setting (Media type selection) for it.

Will that work?
