Two ideas...
First
Make sure the printer is doing its best.
Known solutions, presented in the order to be considered / completed:
Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
Next,
Assuming the printer passes all the quality tests,
Try / Consider
Edit the quality and color of the image before it is printed.
How?
HP Smart Mobile print options to print do not include the editing tools one might need to correct color, brightness, contrast, gamma and other color quality settings.
Depending on your Operating System, look for photo editing applications / software that include the basic kind of color correction you need to produce the file. Open the edited file and print.
Reminders
Photo printing on paper is different than seeing an image / photo on a backlit computer / tablet / phone screen.
Color, brightness, and hue (for example) can look different when viewed through a back-lighted screen as compared to how the colors appear on paper.
