I have never ran my printer through Wi-Fi, I always direct connected it. I now need to connect via Wi-Fi. I tried to completely uninstall my printer then reinstall it but, it said a driver was missing. there is no help wizard. What do I do?

Hi @Kurt_Torgerson,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with connectivity.
Update the firmware and drivers by selecting your current OS. Click here
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
Refer to this document and see if this helps.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I called HP support for help. All they did was try to sell me computer security and when I told them I wasn’t interested they hung up. I got fed up and threw that HP printer in the trash and bought a Brother printer and it hooked up easily and works. HP support was useless
