E print in hp smart tank 580

I have brought today HP Smart Tank 580 Printer it does support e print and print anywhere but nowhere its is showing me the e print option this is a very useful feature because i cant have my phone all the time but i can remember a mail to get print

ePrint and Print Anywhere are two different technologies.

"Not the same animal"

ePrint is the old tech -  It is not supported on this printer series.

Your printer is one of a select non-HP+ printers that can access the advanced features normally only available to HP+ printers with HP+ enabled.  Advanced features include access to Print Anywhere.

Access to Print Anywhere is not automatic -- Use the HP Smart application to create the necessary environment to use Print Anywhere and / or other HP Smart Advance features.

Once set up, you will still need a device that can access and run the HP Smart application.

This means that you must have your phone, tablet, or computer (connected to a network) to access and use Print Anywhere or other Cloud capable tasks.

Hello mister i may inform you that hp smart tank 580 has hp e print support mentioned in their website yes it does has print anywhere feature but e print is much more cool because it does not require to carry the device i can go to any computer and get a printout at home .

i know that this feature is discontinued but will it work in printers which are being soled as "e print capable" please tell 🙂

Sure, consider me informed.

Please ignore anything in the previous message that does not apply, you do not like, or you do not need.

We use the documentation we have available - perhaps it does not apply to your situation.

ePrint and Print Anywhere share some of the same underpinning (code structure).

I am not aware they are compatible.

It is my understanding that when the printer model is HP+ capable or if the printer is an eligible non-HP+ printer, that printer will support Print Anywhere and not ePrint.

Perhaps I'm wrong.  It happens.

If ePrint is supported then the same rules apply to its use as have ever done.
