Hi @Aynz1,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting an E6 error on the HP ENVY 6032e typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printhead or paper feed mechanisms. Since you've already tried resetting the printer and updating the firmware,
here are a few additional steps you can try:
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer and carefully check for any paper jams or obstructions. Sometimes even a small piece of paper can cause issues.
- Make sure the paper tray and input areas are free of debris.
Inspect the Printhead:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the printer to access the printhead. Remove the ink cartridges and inspect the printhead for any visible issues, such as obstructions or damage.
- Reinstall the ink cartridges and make sure they’re seated correctly.
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer unplugged, wait for about a minute.
- Plug the printer back in and power it on.
Clean the Printhead Contacts:
- If you’re comfortable doing so, you can clean the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of distilled water. Ensure everything is completely dry before reassembling.
Verify Ink Cartridges:
- Check that the ink cartridges are genuine and properly installed. Sometimes non-genuine cartridges or improperly installed ones can cause issues.
Check for Firmware Issues: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Make sure the firmware update process was completed successfully. If the update was interrupted or failed, it might need to be reattempted.
