I am trying to print photos. When I try to print them, the printer says that there is no paper in the tray. I have tried using 4x6 photo paper in the photo tray and tried to use it in the main tray. Then when it finally registers the paper in the tray, it only prints part of the photo or none at all with black streaks on the back. Sometimes it will jam the printer. I am using HP Photo paper 4x6.

@JuliaGulia, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print photos. Let us try these steps:

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Make sure the photo papers are properly loaded in the tray. Refer to - Loading Paper, Envelopes, Cards, and Photo Paper

Which app are you using to print?

Have you tried using the HP Smart app?

Check the print settings on the app before printing. For the print settings guide, click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
