HP ENVY 6432e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got an error on my hp envy 6432e printer that has the code 74740 and I am unable to make it print, I have installed and uninstalled drivers, I have connected and disconnected the WIFI, I have tried different configurations, but despite the fact that in the application of HP SMART appears as a ready printer in green, when it sends to print that error code appears, 74740.
Please, if someone has the solution, tell me, because I'm going crazy, and I just think that the printer has broken down.
Thank you so much

In the end the solution has been the router.
In the router configuration you have to look for the IP of the printer and in the settings of that IP, activate the DMZ mode. That's the way it has worked.

Hi @joshxna,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

You have certainly done a great job performing those steps.

Are you enrolled in the instant ink program?

Perform a power reset on the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP Recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet
  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
