Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased printer HP 4155e deskjet and was initially set up wifi and then next day it said printer was offline and blue wifi light was flashing. I have tried everything to connect to wifi. I pressed wifi light and cancel to restore default settings and went through HP Smart app on my phone and computer and still get errors that it was unable to connect to the network. I tried also pressing and holding wifi button and refreshing the network and it will still not connect. My network is fine and all other devices except this printer have no issues connecting. Is there anything else to try or is this just a faulty printer?

@Akagopro, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is shown as offline on the HP Smart app. Have you tried reinstalling the HP Smart app?

Print a Network Configuration Page to make sure that the printer is on the same network as the computer.

On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless button  and the Information button  at the same time.

Both a Network Configuration Page and a Wireless Network Test Report print.

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try printing. (Do not use the HP Smart app. Open the File > Print)

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
