Product: HP Envy 7645
I changed my password of my printer's wifi direct and set it to hide password so that random people couldn't see my password on the detail screen and print and use my ink and paper. (I live in a dorm) Now I have forgotten the password and am unable to log into the wifi direct in order to change the password to something new. I tried to reset to factory settings but this fails to reset the wifi direct information.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
You can go to the Embedded Web Server (EWS) of the printer to view the password.
FIrst, you need to know the IP address of your printer.
Then key the IP Address into a web browser.
At the EWS, go to Network > Wifi Direct, you should see your password.
Here's a resource that shows you how to get to the Wifi Direct page in the EWS.
How to change the Wifi Direct Password
Thanks.
