Hi
I bought an HP Officejet 7510 last night having been assured that it printed Duplex automatically. My former HP printer failed yesterday afternoon and it was an urgent, essential purchase. I print so much stuff for work and duplex was top of my list. of needs. It seems that it doesn't. I use a Mac and am on El Capitan. Any option to select double-sided is greyed out. Is it me...or does anyone have a solution before it goes back in the box? Thanks so much for any e=help.

Hi,
As listed by @dansdaduk above, duplexing is not supported by the Officejet 7510, whoever assured it print deplex is wrong, only manual duplexing is supported by the printer which can be done as following:
From the file used to print click the File menu and select Print.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Press on Show Details to show any available print option.
From the main drop does menu select Paper Handaling.
The main menu will usually list the program name (e.g. TextEdit).
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
Set the Pages to Print option as Odd Only, as well set the Page Order as Automatic and click on Print.
After the odd-numbered pages have printed, reload the paper with the printed side facing up and repeat the process above by setting the Pages to Print as Even Only this time.
Other than that I suggest returning to the point of purchase, you may check the Officejet 7612 or the Officejet 7740 which offer manual duplexing by standard.

Shlomi

In that case, I am having a very odd issue with my Officejet 7510 which since I sent something to print which was double-sided and many documents later is still printing double-sided about half of the time even though the settings do not reflect that!
