I purchases an HP Envy 7640 in late January 2016 and have never been able to have it connect wiressly to my MacBook Pro for more than one print job. The printer tells me there is no connection, no printer found, or even no paper--when it is completely filled with paper. I have followed the suggestions posted in the forums and nothing works. I have to reset the printer every time I print. All software is up-to-date, I reinstalled the printer drives, etc. I have not been been able to print 24 pages in 2 1/2 months. I bought it at Best Buy, where the return for refund or is 15 days. I've had HP printers for 20 years. I am sorely disappointed. I'd like to return the printer to HP. I saw the information on a forum in the past few weeks. Please assist me. I need a reliable wireless printer.

Hi,
Try removing the printer and then re-adding it by opening the preferences tab and then selecting "printers & scanners".
From there, click the minus sign under teh printer icon to remove the printer and then re-add it using the sign.
This often helps if you are experienceing printer offline issues regularly.

Hi,
I would re-check the details that you entered into the support link. If you registered your product in the U.S the support page should reflect that.
It would also be worth checking that you have the most up to date software by checking this link.
I've included some more troubleshooting steps below for printer offline issues that should help with your setup.

Hi,
Have you tried removing and re-adding the printer as shown in one of the steps above? At what point do you have a problem connecting to the printer?
