HP All in one printer oj pro 8600 n911g to print using wireless network

Cannot print to wirless printer from android or laptop. I had been and something interrutpted it.

I have been trying to follow online instructions but have not been successful. I can however print using hp oj  8600 without the network but not from the smart phone . My operating system is WIN7.

I printed the network wireless test page and states everything is connected, but still nothing prints using 8600 network. 

I already did all the restarting, etc. 

Good someone assist me.

Hi,

Welcome to HP Support Forum. For laptop with Windows, firstly, please download an run the following tool to confirm the network connections between them:

      http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

It may fix the problem for you. If not, post back full error message(s).

Hi Banhien,

I downloaded the link you sent me.

In summary now when I print an email from MS Outlook WIN7 I need to select HP OJ Pro 8600 EVEN THOUGH 8600 NETWORK IS THE DEFAULT PRINTER. There is an Error in the printing preferences. I clear it and select HP OJ 8600, and it prints.

If I print from the internet I need to select HP OJ Pro 8600 N911G and it prints. 

I will keep the default printer as 8600 Network, becuase it seems to be printing now from my andorid smartphone, which had stopped printing.

These days I try to print everything remotely from the smartphone because its faster when I am on the go, and hardly use the laptop. The issue will probably still be with printing an email from the smartphone.
