Hello,
I am trying to get my Webservices to work. It used to work but suddenly stopped. I have had customer support/tech support many times help me assign a fixed IP address to my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw printer. I believe it is after they fixed this problem that my Webservices option stopped working.
When I attempt to turn it on, this is the error message I have. The crazy thing is that I am connected to the internet. I can find it on my network and I cannot figure out what is wrong. I am about ready to throw this printer in the trash. Keep in mind that when I first bought this printer, Webservices did work and did connect.
Connection error. Check Internet connection.

**Please NOTE** HP SUPPORT FAILED THIS ENTIRE WEEK! I could not reach a human being for over a week trying to figure out this problem! They wanted to charge me $200 to get continued warranty coverage for a problem THEY created! Their Tech Support people set a manual IP address for my printer which prevented it from connecting to the port of my Nighthawk wireless router! I FIXED IT MYSELF!
Be cautious about allow them access to your network they might just CAUSE THE PROBLEMS AND WANT TO CHARGE YOU FOR IT!
I also called and was placed on hold for 30 minutes and blind transferred to another person who did a worthless job making effort to fix the problem!!!!!
MAJOR FAILURE FROM HP SUPPORT!
