i've spent so many hours trying to connect my HP 3835 printer with my HP laptop but to no avail. My printer can connect to my wifi as well as my laptop, but they cannot connect with each other. I also tried to connect thru direct wifi wherein I connected thru the HP printer wifi network but still I cannot print.
Pls help me coz the reason why I bought this unit last week is so I won't need to connect my printer thru USB port before I can print.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP forum. Have you tried to install the FULL feature software? If you have not, can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-3830-all-in-one-printer-ser...
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hi Sir Greenturtle,
Yes, we've already downloaded the said software and installed it. Still, we cannot print wirelessly. The printer is connected to the wifi network. But my HP laptop cannot detect the printer. 😞

Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem
