Hi there,
I have the following:
1. A HP DJ2130 printer with USB connectivity
2. A TP Link TL-WR842ND router with a USB port for: storage sharing, FTP server, Media server or Print server. I use it for storage sharing with success. The router has been updated to latest firmware version.
3. A HP notebook with WIN7 x64
4. A MAC MINI 2010 with OS X 10.11
Both computers are connected to same router via ethernet cables. DHCP is set ENABLE.
I connected the printer to router's USB port and I activated PRINT SERVER on router.
Now, I tried to add a network printer to my HP notebook with WIN7. The printer is not seen. I cannot find it or add it.
I tried to talk to HP customer service but I only found a robot that kept telling me it cannot understand my question. It kept asking me whether I want to print over WIFI. Which I do not want.
Any help is much appreciate it.
Regards,
Sebastian

Does the printer work just fine on a USB port on your computer?

It turned out that according to TP Link Romania technical support, that router does not accept HP DJ2130 for print server.
Thank you for your interest and for your time.
... and yes, the printer works just fine. I will have to figure it out how to share printer through one computer. Either I connect it to HP Nptebook with WIN7 or to MAC MINI with OS X 10.11.

Sebastian
