Product: HP Envy 4500
Operating System: Android 9.0 Pie

My android phone is connected to the same wifi as my printer. My printer is showing as "ready," yet when I go to print something, it says that my printer is not available. I have all of the necessary apps I'm supposed to. Both devices are connected to the same wifi. I've printed from this phone on this printer before and suddenly it's stopped working.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

If you're using the HP Smart App on your phone to print, uninstall and reinstall it.

 

If this doesn't help, let;s restore the Printer settings:

 

1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu. 2. Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless Settings menu. 3. Select Restore Defaults. 4. Confirm selection to restore defaults.

 

Once done, connect the Printer back to the Wi-Fi and the phone to the Printer.
