My HP Envy printer is connected to my WiFi but it will not always print when I connect my phone to the printer network. I have restarted and u plugged it multiple times and sometimes it will print and other times it will not. I cannot get it to to print from my laptop as well even when it is connected to the WiFi and the laptop is connected to the printer network. Any solutions?

Hello Dwerth1333,
Thank you for reaching out. If your HP Envy printer is intermittently failing to print from both your phone and laptop, despite being connected to your WiFi network, please try the following steps:
Verify Network Connections:
- Ensure that both your printer and devices (phone and laptop) are connected to the same WiFi network. Check your printer’s network configuration to confirm it is connected to the correct network.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for any available firmware updates for your printer on the HP website. Updating the firmware can resolve many connectivity issues.
Restart All Devices:
- Restart your printer, phone, and laptop. Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve temporary connectivity issues.
Reconfigure Wireless Settings:
- On your printer, go to the wireless settings menu and select “Wireless Setup Wizard” to reconnect it to your WiFi network.
- On your laptop, remove the printer from your list of devices and add it again. For Windows, go to “Devices and Printers,” and for Mac, go to “Printers & Scanners” to re-add the printer.
Check for Printer Errors:
- Ensure there are no error messages or issues with paper, ink, or cartridges that might be affecting print jobs.
If these steps resolve your issue, please select “Accept as Solution” to help others with similar problems. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Roshan
