Hi There,
My printer is fairly new, stated giving me grief at the beginning but now it's getting worse...
Printer is connected to the same WI-FI connection as laptops & phones, but it will not connect to the devices (as in I am unable to print & scan and it states the printer is offline on the smart app).
Initially it used to respond to rebooting systems. This doesn't seem to work anymore.
Have tried removing it from the PC, forgetting it on the app and restarting again. Still will not work.
The odd thing is the apps are not recognizing the printer IP address as well?!?
It has gotten to s stage where it is refusing to cooperate!! HELP!
Please, please, please do not ask me to reboot all systems.. I have spent the last 2 hours doing so before trying other ways...
Thanks

@DNght, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Update the printer firmware-
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.
Assign manual IP to the printer-
The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here. For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.
Also, go into your router settings and try changing the channel manually. Experiment with different channels to see which one works best.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
