@Jenna401, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP ENVY 5030 All-in-One Printer has suddenly stopped printing directly from your phone, even though both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Let’s walk through some steps to get you printing again.

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, phone, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait for 30 seconds, then power them back on.
  • This helps refresh the network connection.

Check Printer Status

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone.
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Wireless Settings > Wireless Network Test Report to confirm connection.

Use the HP Smart App

  • If you haven’t already, download the HP Smart app - HP Smart
  • Open the app and add your printer.
  • Try printing a document or photo from within the app.

Clear Print Queue (Android/iOS)

  • Sometimes print jobs get stuck. Clear the print queue on your phone:
    • Android: Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Printing > HP Print Service Plugin > Clear Cache.
    • iOS: Double-tap the Home button (or swipe up) to view recent apps and swipe away the print center.

Reinstall Printer on Phone

  • Remove the printer from your phone’s list of devices.
  • Re-add it using the HP Smart app or your phone’s print settings.

Update Firmware

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware:
    • Go to the printer’s control panel > Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update Printer.
    • Or use the HP Smart app to check for updates.

Reset Network Settings (if needed)

  • On the printer, go to Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
  • Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi using the Wireless Setup Wizard

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
