My WiFi is WPA-2 enabled and shows up in the printer's network list. But when trying to connect, the info panel says that the network has no encryption, and so the screen for entering the password won't pop up - and so can't connect to the network.
Same issue as posted here, but the answer provided doesn't work: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Connected-Mobile-Printing-and-Cloud-Printing/Printer-won-t-connect-...

Hi @nikita34
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Have you tried connecting any other device and check if that asks for a password?
Restart the Wireless router and the printer.
If you have already tried restoring the network settings, you may skip this step.
Update the printer firmware
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Tools > Update the printer > Check now
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Make sure you are selecting the right network name.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
