Printer has been working happily for about 2 years, printing wirelessly from Macbook Air and 2 ipads. Suddenly it will not print from any device. Macbook says "printer not connected" ipad says "no printer found". Printer internet light is on and steady. Tried to re-input wifi details and printer said incorrect password although I could see that I had input the correct one. Printer automatically updates its own software and says it is up to date.

Hi! @yonmif, Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I understand you have issues connecting your printer to the network.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
As you mentioned you have issues connecting to your printer using wireless.
Please try few steps recommended below.
Restart the computer, printer, and router
Restart the computer, printer, and router to resolve any network or communication error states.
NOTE:
The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections, and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before continuing.
-
Disconnect the power cord from the router.
-
Turn off the printer.
-
Close all running programs on your computer, including the HP software installation window, then shut down the computer.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
-
Turn on the printer.
-
Turn on the computer.
-
Try installing the HP software again.
Most printers with a touch or text navigation control panel have a Wireless Setup Wizard tool available through the Setup, Network, or Wireless menu. Use the guided tool to select your network name and enter the password to connect the printer to your network.
If the network name (SSID) or password is hidden, manually type them on the printer to connect. Network names and passwords are case-sensitive.
-
Gather the following items:
-
Network name (SSID)
-
Network security password (WEP key or WPA passphrase)
-
A computer that is connected to your wireless network
-
-
Disconnect any USB or Ethernet cables from the printer.
-
On the printer control panel, select the Setup, Network, or Wireless menu.
-
Select Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your network.
-
If the printer connected to the network, try installing the HP software again.
-
Also, Reset the print system and uninstall the printer software on your MAC.
• Click the Apple menu icon, and then click “System Preferences”.
• Click “Printers and Scanner” / “Print and Scan” or “Print and Fax”.
• Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click “Reset printing system”.
• Click “Reset” in the confirmation window.
• Enter an administrator username and password, and then click “OK”.
• Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list
• Restart your computer and then go back to System preferences – Printers and scanners.
• Click the “Add button” (+).
• Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.
• Click “Print Using...” or “Use”, and then select Secure AirPrint or AirPrint. Alternatively, you may select the name of your printer if available in that list.
