Operating System: Android 9.0 Pie

I am trying to print 3x5 photos from my Android device using the HP Print Service app. I was able to print 4x6 photos, but I do not have an option to print 3x5 in the paper size drop down menu. Below are all of my trouble-shooting trials thus far.

  • After having a photo in view and pulling up print mode, I went to Settings- Paper and unchecked Automatically Detect Paper, because that was causing an issue at first. Then I went to select paper sizes, where I have multiple selected, but ensured I selected "Index Card 3x5" option, as there is no regular 3x5 in selection.
  • I then go back to the print screen and select the Paper Size Drop down. There is no Index Card 3x5 option, only 4x6 in, 5x7 in, and Letter (the other options I have selected for paper size). 
  • I tried to remove everything except the 3x5 option, and on the print screen, it just gives me the "spinning wheel of death" and the photo won't pull up. 
  • I tried to go back in and turn on the Automatically Detect Paper option. This pulled up 4x6 in and when I tried to print with this setting, my printer set off an alert saying the paper size was incorrect (of course, I knew that, but was hoping the printer then might re-adjust. It did not.)

Please help!
